Herbal Remedies For Hair Loss
Hair loss is an unfortunate and embarrassing problem for many men and women of all different ages. It can be caused by a variety of problems and health concerns and it’s usually a symptom of a greater underlying problem. Sometimes it can be an age factor and other times it’s simply genetics but it can also be as a result of hormonal changes, stress, and even poor circulation - particularly to the scalp. The symptoms are usually different in men and women though. Men tend to result in a larger amount of hair lost and usually begins with the front of the scalp and works backwards. In women it’s more common to have general thinning of the hair all over the scalp and less so at the front of the hairline as is common with men. Sometimes this is just part of an aging issue but it usually begins earlier in life as a result of other problems and then continues because of aging. A lot of people turn to chemicals and prescriptions to try and make their hair grow back but there are plenty of natural home remedies that you can use to achieve the growth of your hair again. You may also want to look into some lifestyle changes to make sure that you don’t continue losing your hair while you’re making an effort to have it grow back. Simple changes like eating a better diet, getting more rest, exercising and so forth can have a dramatic impact when it comes to the re-growth of your hair.
There are lots of topical remedies you can apply as well though. The application of coconut milk all over the scalp is a common recommendation and can be very effective as is coconut oil and lime juice. You may also want to try using castor oil, hot olive oil, honey, and cinnamon powder for about fifteen minutes and then wash it out with a gentle soap. Almond oil massaged into the scalp can be very effective as well. Massaging the scalp is often cited as being a way to stimulate blood flow to the head and increase the growth of hair through better circulation and stimulated hair follicles so most essential nut oils will be very helpful in this process. Aloe vera is also very helpful at stimulating hair growth and it can do a good job at moisturizing the scalp which can make it easier for hair growth as well. Using a shampoo of india goose berry (amla) and boiled water, even mixed with lime juice can make a lot of difference in stimulating hair growth as well. Taking a multivitamin with lots of good vitamins and omegas as well as fish oils can do a really good job of keeping the hair you have healthy and preventing any of it from falling out. Remedies such as these can take some time to work so be sure to be patient with them and not give up on them too soon.
Staying stress free, eating a healthy diet, and generally living in a healthy manner may be all that you need to get your hair to grow back again but if not make sure to try these remedies out to see if you can’t get any of them to work.
