Herbal Remedies For Allergies

Every time the seasons change there are tons of people who struggle to keep up with them because of their allergies acting up. Nettle is good for reducing inflammation too and it’s filled with lots of powerful vitamins. St. Johns Wort will get rid of sinus headaches and tea made from rooibos works as an antihistamine. Putting any of these in a hot bath so that the herbs can steep and infuse the water is a great idea and if you get the right combination you can also do well from the steam of it which will decrease your congestion and get rid of a headache too. You can even cook with these herbs and plant them around your home near windows so that you will be able to counter effect the  struggles that come with dealing with allergies all the time.

Some allergies are even caused by using certain chemical substances such as household cleaners, perfume, soap, sunscreens, and many types of food. To avoid allergies and itchy problems you might want to consider making your own products at home to use instead o buying chemical filled ones from the store. Using castile soap and distilled spring water to make your own shampoos and conditioner can help prevent allergic reactions to products and you can even infuse herbs in them that will reduce seasonal allergy symptoms so you get the extra prevention and benefit of doing that as well. You can also make your own cleaning products using herbs and essential oils as well as simple things like vinegar which can make it a lot easier to avoid having issues with reactions to household products.

There are plenty of ways to get rid of your allergy symptoms and lots of great ways to do it naturally as long as you’re willing to put in the time to work with some natural products and herbs and make sure that you do your research in advance. Have fun!
